According to Ukraine’s National Resistance Center, Russia is preparing a new large-scale deportation of over 50,000 Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied Donetsk region during the summer of 2025 — under the false pretext of “vacation.”
13,000 children are expected to be sent to 26 “sponsor” regions in Russia. Another 2,500 children will be taken to Russian camps such as Artek, Orlyonok, Smena, and Alye Parusa, where they will be subjected to ideological programming promoting the so-called “Russian world.”
Teenagers aged 14+ will be transferred to Russian universities under the "University Changes" program — a clear attempt at long-term indoctrination and identity erasure.
This is not care. This is not a vacation. It is forced assimilation, illegal deportation, and a war crime under the Rome Statute and the Geneva Convention. It’s a calculated strategy to erase Ukrainian identity and steal our future.
Bring Kids Back UA calls on the international community to respond. Every effort must be made to stop these abductions — and to bring every child home.
